Idaho Senator Mike Crapo will discuss issues from taxes to spending to collaboration, when he visits with Lewiston-area residents and businesses Tuesday during a town hall meeting.
The forum, held with the Lewiston Chamber of Commerce, begins at Noon at Lewis-Clark State College’s SUB Solarium.
Crapo will also help celebrate the success of community health centers when he marks National Health Center Week and the one-year anniversary of the Lewis and Clark Health Clinic in Lewiston. The center has served 1,700 patients in its first year of service, including 750 uninsured and underinsured area residents.
Crapo will be at the health clinic on 6th Street at 1:30 p.m.
Earlier in the day, the Senator will tour research and development facilities at Manning Applied Technology in Troy. Crapo has worked closely with the business that has conducted research and development in producing technical equipment used by the U.S. military.
The Senator will visit the facility at 10:30 a.m.
