The University of Idaho College of Law has received a $1 million to boost the school’s presence in the state capitol.
The commitment from the Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation will help pay for renovation of the old Ada County Courthouse in Boise for the university’s third-year law-school program and the state’s law library.
College dean Don Burnett says the donation could help the U of I occupy the courthouse in two to three years and could become a steppingstone to creating a full, three-year branch program of the school’s Moscow-based college of law. (Idaho Statesman)
