The residential parking permit program around the Lewis-Clark State College campus is being updated.
Residents living on streets where residential parking permits are required will need to update their permits by Sept. 10. The color of permits is changing and the old permits will no longer be valid after the deadline.
New permits are available now and may be picked up at the Lewiston Community Center on Main Street, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
There is no charge for the program and permits are available for residents only.
Proof of residency is required. For renters and resident homeowners, that would include car registration, proof of residence, such as rental agreement or current utility bill, and photo identification. Car registrations are needed for property owners.
