A Clarkston man who pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree child rape in Asotin County Superior Court has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
71-year-old Mario Robago faced a minimum of 13.5 years to 18 years behind bars for admitting to sexually abusing a 10-year-old girl. Judge John Henry selected the high-end sentence Tuesday and if he is released, Robago will be under community supervision for the rest of his life.
He must also pay restitution for any counseling undergone by the victim.
