College of Idaho sets enrollment record

For the third year in a row, the College of Idaho has set an enrollment record, as the number of students attending the Caldwell school climbed almost 12 percent over 2008.

The liberal arts college has 1,055 students enrolled for the 2010 school year, up from 1,013 students in 2009 and 944 in 2008.  70 percent of the students at CofI are from Idaho, though enrollment includes those from 32 different states and 45 foreign countries.

The school also retained more than 88 percent of its first-time, full-time freshmen from 2009.  (Idaho Statesman)
