A Juliaetta woman has died following a one-car accident Monday night on State Highway 3.
According to the Idaho State Police, 20-year-old Devin Matchey was a passenger in a 1993 Infinity G20 driven by 20-year-old Derik Neely, of Genesee, when the car went left of center, traveled across the median, and down an embankment about 2 miles south of Juliaetta.
Both occupants were taken to St Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston, where Matchey died of her injuries.
Speed is believed to have been a factor in the accident and neither person was wearing a seatbelt.
