Officials ask for help in deer poaching in Nez Perce County

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is seeking the public’s help in identifying whoever may be responsible for illegally killing a doe whitetail deer about a week ago and leaving it to waste along Webb Ridge Road in Nez Perce County.

The deer was shot some 30 yards from the road, just south of its junction with Flat Iron Road and left there to rot.

Anyone with knowledge about the poaching incident is encouraged to call the department’s Clearwater Regional Office at (208) 799-5010 or the Citizens Against Poaching line at (800) 632-5999.
