The American Automobile Association says holiday travelers will notice a slight decline in the price of gasoline.
Dave Carslon with the Idaho Chapter of AAA says the lower price is nice, even though its still far above what motorists paid a year ago.

For those who plan to travel over the holiday weekend, AAA is offering a few safety tips, including planning ahead; preparing the vehicle by having it inspected; wearing seatbelts; preparing yourself and passengers by dressing in layers according to destination; and by keeping up to speed on road conditions in Idaho by calling 5-1-1 or visiting the website www.511.idaho.gov.
