A Kooskia woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in southern Idaho on Monday.
23-year-old Jennifer Shira was driving a 2003 Subaru westbound near milepost 247 on Interstate 84, when the Idaho State Police say she drove into the median, overturned and traveled into the eastbound lanes, where her car collided with a tractor-trailer driven by a Utah man.
Shira was pronounced dead at the scene. Her husband, 26-year-old Bryson Shira, and two young children were taken to the Cassia Regional Medical Center in Burley with minor injuries.
All occupants in both vehicles were wearing seat belts, and the crash remains under investigation.
