Audio: Warriors prepare for road trip to Carroll, Rocky

The Lewis-Clark State College basketball teams hit the road this week for a pair of Frontier Conference games against Carroll College and Rocky Mountain College.

The 8th-ranked Warrior women are 21-3 overall and are 7-2 in league play.

Carroll has won 3 of its last 4 games and is 10-11 overall and 3-5 in conference.

Warrior head coach Brian Orr says there’s a lot riding this week with three teams battling for the league’s top spot.

Meanwhile, the Warrior men are coming off a home sweep of Montana Tech and then 19th-ranked Montana Western.

LC is 15-8 overall and 4-5 in Frontier Conference play. Carroll is 11-9 overall and 4-4 in league games.

Warrior head coach Brandon Rinta says the team is preparing for another zone defense that has, at times given the team some trouble.
