A Lenore woman was killed in a one-car accident in the Southwick area Tuesday morning.
According to the Nez Perce County Sheriff’s Office, 55-year-old Debra Aspelund was driving a 1997 Ford pickup truck along Southwick Road at just before 6:30 a.m. when she apparently failed to negotiate a curve. Her vehicle rolled one-and-a-half times before coming to rest on its top.
Aspelund died at the scene. She was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident remains under investigation.
