Bishop leads LCSC women to 1st round win at NAIA nationals

Senior Tasha Bishop hit seven 3-pointers and scored 23 points, Jasmine Stohr added 19 points, and the Lewis-Clark State women’s basketball team beat Loyola of Louisiana 74-63 in Thursday’s opening round game of the NAIA Division 1 Women’s Basketball National Championship Tournament in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Keiva Council led the Wolfpack with a game-high 36 points.

The 29-4 Warriors advance to the second round, where they will play Lubbock Christian Friday at 11:15 a.m. Pacific Time, with live coverage on Talk Radio 950 KOZE-AM and online at koze-sports.com.
