Braxton Miller and Kevin Hawk drove in four runs apiece while four Lewis-Clark State College pitchers combined on a six-hitter to help the Warriors end their regular season with a 10-1 triumph over Pacific Lutheran at Linfield College on Sunday.
LC capitalized on two big innings, scoring four runs in the 2nd inning, highlighted by a 3-run triple by Miller. Then in the 6th the Warriors put up a 3 spot by way of the first homerun of the year for Hawk.
Six LC pitchers combined on a six hitter with left-hander Anthony Armanino scattering four hits over six innings allowing one run to improve to 9-1.
With the win, the Warriors wrap up the regular season with a 41-12 record and a #10 ranking in the final regular season NAIA National Poll.
LC will have 19 days off before opening NAIA World Series play at Harris Field on Friday, May 25th.
