Warriors to open series against Stars

Lewis-Clark State will open the 2012 NAIA World Series as the #6 seed and will face #3 seed Oklahoma City in the opening round of this year’s tournament.

The NAIA announced the national championship bracket Monday following the completion of the national opening round tournaments.

The College of Idaho is the #10 seed and will play in the tournament’s first game at 9am PDT Friday, May 25th against #7 seed Point Park of Pennsylvania.

#8 seed South Carolina Beaufort, and #9 seed Rogers State of Oklahoma – both making their World Series debuts – will square-off against each other at noon on opening day.

#4 seed Tennessee Wesleyan will meet #5 seed Embry-Riddle of Florida at 3pm opening day.

Lewis-Clark State and Oklahoma City will round out day one at 7pm opening night.

The top-two seeds, Louisiana State-Shreveport and Lee of Tennessee receive opening day byes and will open play on Saturday, May 26th.
