An 18-year-old woman was allegedly abducted and raped at gunpoint in Asotin on Monday.
According to the Asotin County sheriff’s office, the woman flagged down an Asotin city police officer at about 6 p.m. and said she had been abducted while walking near First and Harding streets in Asotin. She said she was raped on Asotin Creek Road, and her attacker then released her at the city park.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 30s or early 40s, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, with a beard and an approximate 2-inch long scar on the left side of his abdomen. The vehicle is described as an older white, four-door Chevrolet pickup with a rusty front bumper and Washington plates.
