St. Joseph RMC to go tobacco free starting June 1

Starting Friday, St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston will be a tobacco-free campus.

The new policy means tobacco use of any kind will not be permitted on the Medical Center campus or any property owned or leased by the Medical Center, including properties on Idaho Street and Southway Ave. The use of any tobacco, which includes smokeless, will not be permitted inside any of the Medical Center buildings, the surrounding areas outside or even in the parking lots.

Signage will be visible to designate the non-smoking areas and a map showing the areas is available on the St. Joseph web site.
