ewiston Orchards Irrigation District crews will begin work at midnight Monday, July 2nd to repair a damaged drinking water pipeline at the intersection of Grelle Avenue and 19th Street.
Patrons in that area may experience a water outage during the late night hours.
Once repairs are complete, the main will be flushed, which may result in some discoloration or cloudiness and the presence of sediment in the water line. Those conditions are not harmful and should not last long.
Patrons can clear the discoloration by running a water tap for a few minutes until the water runs clear. Its also advised to refrain from washing clothing until the water clears.
