A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with another vehicle on U.S. Highway 12 east of Lewiston Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Idaho State Police, 65-year-old Dale Grusell, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, was traveling east on a 2010 Yamaha motorcycle, and passing multiple vehicles at a high rate of speed. Grusell struck an eastbound 1997 Buick Park Avenue from behind and was ejected from the bike. The car was preparing to make a left turn onto Steeple Lane.
The driver of the car, 63-year-old Teddy Pinkerton, and a passenger, 23-year-old Anthony Becker, both of Lewiston, were injured and taken to St Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Both occupants were wearing seatbelts, and Grusell was wearing a helmet.
