Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories will open an office in Spokane Valley in September.
The Pullman-based engineering and manufacturing company, which opened a facility in Lewiston this year, is renovating a 7,000-square-foot office space at in the 3800 block of North Sullivan Road.
The company has about 40 employees who commute to Pullman from the greater Spokane area. The new office could house some of those workers, as well as research and development functions.
