An Enterprise, Ore., man was killed Thursday after a head-on collision at milepost 38 on U.S. Highway 12 near Orofino.
According to the Idaho State Police, Douglas Terry, 63, was killed after the 2002 Dodge Caravan he was driving collided with a 2003 Ford Explorer driven by Gregory Munson, 64, of Orofino. ISP says Munson was traveling east when his car crossed the center line and struck Terry’s westbound vehicle. Munson and a passenger in Terry’s vehicle were both taken to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Lewiston where they were listed in serious condition.
The highway was partially closed about five hours Thursday afternoon while the accident was under investigation.
