115th River Rivalry highlights busy prep football Friday

A full schedule of high school football games are on tap Friday night around the region, highlighted by the 115th River Rivalry between Lewiston and Clarkston.

In the Whitepine League: Two of the league favorites collide in Kamiah as the Kubs host Troy. Prairie travels to Genesee; Potlatch is home with Lapwai; Clearwater Valley plays at Timberline; Lewis County hosts Pomeroy and Deary and Kendrick have this week off.

In the Long Pin Conference: Salmon River travels to the Palouse for a non-league game with Colton.

In the Central Idaho League: Top-ranked and defending champion Grangeville looks to stay unbeaten as the Bulldogs host Timberlake with live radio coverage on AM 1230 KORT. And Orofino works to pick up its first win at home against Kellogg with live coverage on AM 1300 KLER.

On the Palouse: Moscow seeks it first win of the year at home against West Valley; Pullman is home versus Freeman; and Colfax opens its season with a home game against Asotin.

In the LC Valley its the 115th edition of the River Rivalry as Clarkston plays host to Lewiston at Adams Field. And Asotin is on the road at Colfax.
