An arrest warrant has been issued for a Moscow man for allegedly assaulting a Clarkston woman who has been missing for more than two years.
Asotin County Judge Ray Lutes on Monday signed the warrant for 51-year-old Charles Capone, charged with second-degree assault for allegedly attempting to strangle Rachael Anderson in December of 2009. Anderson hasn‘t been seen since disappearing on April 16, 2010. Capone, her estranged husband, is a person of interest in her disappearance.
Capone is currently being held in the Sea-Tac Federal Detention Center in Seattle on a 2010 federal firearms conviction. He was due to be released on Wednesday – instead, he will be transported to the Asotin County Jail and held on a $250,000 bond.
