Clarkston man arrested after shot fired at Lewiston party

A Clarkston man was arrested early New Year’s Day after a pistol was fired outside a Lewiston Normal Hill residence.

According to the Lewiston Police Department, 21-year-old Curtis Marsh was booked into the Nez Perce County Jail on an allegation of aggravated assault.

Witnesses told police that a pistol was fired “in the direction of another person” in the backyard of a residence in the 800 block of 10th Avenue during a New Year’s Eve party. ¬†Officers seized a .38-caliber pistol that apparently had been taken from Marsh by another person during the incident.
