Champoux claims weekly conference honor

Lewis-Clark State’s Jacob Champoux has been named the Frontier Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

The junior guard from Seattle averaged 25 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists in leading the 5th-ranked Warriors to wins over Multnomah University and Montana Tech.

Champoux leads the nation in three-point field goal shooting at 62 percent.

LC returns home this week with Frontier Conference games against Dickinson State on Thursday and Rocky Mountain on Saturday.
