The Idaho Department of Fish and Game along with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is inviting the public to an open house and public meeting Wednesday evening regarding the Dworshak Reservoir Nutrient Restoration Pilot Project.
Joe DuPont, Regional Fisheries Manager with the IDFG Clearwater Office says the plan, which has been met with mixed reviews from some, is intended to provide opportunity for the public to learn and ask questions about he project and to provide information about upcoming related activities in 2013.
DuPont comments on the open house:
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk in small groups or one-on-one with fish and game and corps of engineer staff about different aspects of the project.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, March 27th at the Best Western Lodge at River’s Edge in Orofino from 6pm to 9pm PDT.
