Final two suspects in WSU assault case turn themselves in

Pullman Police BadgeThe final two suspects sought in the beating of a Washington State University faculty member are in custody. Pullman police say 22-year-old John “Matt” Cabanos-Soriano turned himself in early Friday morning at the Pullman Police Department.

Meanwhile, 22-year-old Robert Bean turned himself in to Whitman County Deputies Friday morning.

The two are wanted for investigation of assault in the March 30th beating that injured WSU faculty member David Warner.

Warner suffered severe head injuries, but his condition has been upgraded from critical to serious at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane.

Two WSU students were previously arrested in the case.
