AUDIO: Gas prices rising despite stable supply, low demand

AAAThe American Automobile Association says despite stable oil prices and weak drive demand, the price of gasoline is on the rise across the country.

Dave Carslon with AAA-Idaho says refinery problems are to blame for the recent spike.

The US average price for a gallon of gasoline is currently $3.62, up a dime in the past month. Idaho’s average price of $3.79 ranks as the 11th-highest price in the nation.

Washington’s gas prices are the 7th-highest at $3.90 and Oregon’s average price is the 8th-highest at $3.88.
