They should sue the groups/people fighting the transport if it is allowed and causes no problems.
Furthermore, I think that both the transporting company and any group or individual that legally fights an action like this should have to post money to the courts to cover the cost of both the legal battle and the results of the action. If the transport company causes a problem; they pay for it. If it turns out the transport co. doesn’t cause a problem, but it costs the companies involved money; then they pay for their lawsuit and the company costs. Some frivolous lawsuits would be stopped and business encouraged. Some pollution/damage stopped and more responsible actions taken. And the court costs paid for by the people causing them.

This is a strip-search, period. It makes no difference that the technology allows it to be done on an industrial scale, it’s a violation of privacy that ultimately has, at best, no effect on safety. At worst, it exposes frequent fliers to elevated doses of x-ray radiation which may cause more deaths by cancer than the terrorists could ever kill with an airplane.

Body-cavities are not revealed, thus making this simply an exercise in power-mongering voyeurism.

Don’t forget that there is no real way to validate what level of scanning is being done by the TSA. Example images on placards at the airport only show what the government want normal people and potential terrorists to see. If terrorists knew exactly how much scanning was occurring, they could adapt likewise.

Therefore, it is implausible to expect the TSA to be honest about how high the scanning level is set. In effect, the TSA will feed the general public propaganda to stop the enemy from being more diligent in their stealth.

I do not sleep well at night and listen to Coast to Coast through an “ear bud.” I have listened to Coast to Coast since we moved here in 1998.

I agree with Clark Graebel. Doug Stephan is arrogant and talks over his co hosts. The other morning he was so rude to Dr. Ken that I could not stand to listen to him and found a different radio station to listen to. I also have KOZE 950 AM on close to 24/7.

This guy is a total jerk. My radio is tuned to KOZE 95 AM almost 24/7. I either turn it off or change channels when this horses ass comes on after Coast to Coast AM. He talks over guests, talks more about himself, and degrades his co-hosts. You can do better than that! I would rather listen to radio snow than this jerk.
